Our Revolution New Mexico has finally finished compiling all the Questionnaires from all the District Wide and Statewide Candidates. It is our belief that Democracy for us all, will come through strong Progressive values and goals. With so many in some of the races, we've been blessed with a treasure of many qualified people willing to serve. Unfortunately there can only be one person selected for these contested races and additionally, they must share the aspirations and ideals of Our Revolution New Mexico.
As part of the evaluation process ORNM Administrators, Editors and Researchers attended, viewed, read and spoke to many of our candidates over the course of the last year, up to present. There were more than a few FEC reports reviewed. We began this cycle of vetting in early December as we began the planning of the first of many interactions with our Congressional District 1 candidates and statewide candidates.
Just as so many of you have engaged with us and the issues of our time, on Facebook and Twitter, we wanted your views to be reflected in our final decision. We posted on January 3rd the brief outline of our process. It was our intention to create a deliberative and inclusive process for this first election cycle since we became Our Revolution New Mexico. It's important to get things right. Every effort within this process and even in the everyday management of this community page, is done by dedicated and passionate Bernie Sanders Volunteers who are committed to the cause of restoring Democracy and returning our government to the people, for the people and by the people. No one is paid a penny.
We thank you for your willingness to put yourself on the line to answer our questions and participate as you have. Please know that even though you may not have been chosen, you are all fine people and every one a winner in your own way. Sometimes it's just not our time and we encourage you to stay involved and realize that your party, your community and your people still need you to continue leading the way forward!
Governor's Race: Peter DeBenedittis
Lt. Governor's Race: Rick Miera
Congressional District 1: Antoinette Sedillo Lopez
Congressional District 2: Mad Hildebrandt
State Auditor: Bill McCamley
New Mexico Commissioner of Public Lands: Representative Stephanie Garcia Richard
This election cycle is more important than ever. We will continue to demand 'Comprehensive Immigration Reform' and the protection of our DACA community. There can be no retreat on taking money out of politics anymore than we can turn a blind eye to the depth of poverty in our state and country. Above all, we can't un-know the reality of recognizing that women, people of any gender or sexuality have been kept down and they will not stand down any longer. Just as we continue to demand 'Single Payer', #Medicare4All.
Thank you so much for engaging with us. We look forward to seeing you as we navigate these races with as much integrity as possible. Please stay engaged with us as we follow this path forward.
In Solidarity, The Our Revolution New Mexico volunteer team

We have also added the following endorsements:
Jeff Swanson for NM State Rep., District 51
Janene Yazzie for Public Regulation Commission, District 4
Manny Sanchez for Dona Ana County Commissioner, District 5

Candidate for Mayor of Albuquerque
As New Mexico's State Auditor, Tim Keller has led the department to expose inconsistencies and conflicts of interest in state government spending. We value his thorough research, tenacity, and integrity. We believe Tim has the leadership and ingenuity that we need in a mayor to boost the morale, safety, and economy of our largest city.
